As I write, my parents and brother are busy putting the final touches on what will be my last roast beef with all the trimmings for 7.5 months. I also have a strange combined feeling of excitement and nervousness. These feelings, however, are overruled by the slight hangover caused by the champagne murder mystery night last night organised by Ems and Stef. I am extremely tired, as was the plan in order to get some sleep before the long flight tomorrow. I'm up at 3am to meet Fi at her gaff at 4am and onwards to the airport for a 6.20 am flight. My next entry will be from Quito, Ecuador! (hopefully...)
